This park is the go to place for a peace and quiet. The 220-acre woodland get away is located between Elizabeth and Laconia, Indiana.
The renovated camping area draws campers from all parts of the country.
The park is home to the “Sea Hawks” swim team and some of the best southern Indiana baseball, softball, and soccer players. An $825,000 outdoor sports complex was added in 2006.
This 220 acre park established in 1980 is one of our newer parks. The property was purchased by the communities of Elizabeth and Laconia and is located halfway between the two towns. The funds to purchase the park property were raised at festivals hosted by each of the communities.
