Duties

• at the direction of the Park Manager, supervises staff, monitors scheduled work and maintenance tasks
• assists maintenance workers with upkeep of buildings and grounds
• assists with inspection and maintenance of park vehicles and equipment
• checks daily reports from toll house, concessions, swim areas and boathouse for accuracy
• opens and closes toll house, beach/pool areas, concessions and boathouse
• provides troubleshooting for computer and/or cash register issues
• performs duties of Park Manager in his absence

Requirements

• at least 21 years of age
• excellent communication skills, both in customer service and staff supervision
• knowledge of park facility upkeep with knowledge of construction, plumbing, electrical and/or mechanical trades preferred
• working knowledge of computer operation sufficient to use programs and software used by the Parks Department

• collects boat rental fees, issues receipts and completes daily report of revenue
• inspects boats and advises Park Manager or maintenance staff of needed repairs
• cleans boathouse facility and boats
